Our Eastern Region office in St Ives Cambridge, have just signed off the new Sir Thomas Fremantle secondary school in Winslow, Buckinghamshire.

Appointed by regular client Kier Construction Eastern and working alongside architect Van Heyningen & Haward, Salus Registered Building Control Approvers provided building control on the new and long awaited three storey school.

As the newest secondary school in the north Buckinghamshire area, the £12million+ facility brings much needed space to the rapidly growing school as well as offering a huge range of sport and leisure facilities to the local community.

Designed and constructed in accordance with BB100, the building provides large open spaces and will house up to 600 pupils, including sixth form students. The purpose built, state of the art facility includes a large café area, performance hall, separate sports hall, dance and aerobics studio, fitness suite and all-weather outdoor pitches.
