Topping Out Of New Community Centre at Kings Reach

Salus Registered Building Control Approvers are working alongside regular client Watson and Cox on the new build community centre for Biggleswade’s latest residential development at Kings Reach. Commencing in 2011, the new development consists of some 1450 new homes by top developers including Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon Homes.

Salus joined the Mayor of Biggleswade at the Topping out Ceremony of the new look centre to mark the completion of the build. Local councillor Maurice Jones attached the last piece of guttering that finished the roof and marked the end of construction. All that remains for the building is the internal works and fitting out.

Due to open in December the centre will act as a major part the community and provide residents with a multi-use space with a number of functional rooms and which will later be joined by a medical centre, small shops and a market square all within the Kings Reach development.
