Alan Chambers has joined the Salus Approved Inspector: Dursley team of experts, in October (2015) after 14 years working with a UK major retailer in Fire Safety, Petroleum Safety and Construction Health Safety / Environmental Compliance roles.

Alan holds MRICS, MCABE and Nebosh Construction Site Safety qualifications following a previous 25 year career in local authority building control where he served with Torbay Borough Council as a Principal BCO.

In his leisure time Alan enjoys 5-aside football and Underwater Hockey as well spending time in Kenya enjoying the wildlife.

Alan said “It’s great to be back in Building Control working for a quality Approved Inspector such as Salus as their Managing Associate for the Dursley Office. It’s refreshing to once again enjoy the great work that the building control profession does in both maintaining safety standards and contributing to the quality control of developments in the construction industry.
My working environment is now once again across a broad spectrum of building projects such as hospitals, schools, commercial shops / offices and large residential and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.”
