Carl Poole has joined the Salus head office team in Leicestershire.

Carl completed a HNC in Building studies at Wolverhampton University in 2011 before moving onto his BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying, completed in 2014. During this time he also undertook work experience with Staffordshire Borough council before graduating.

In October 2014, Carl started work as a graduate building control surveyor for Acivico Building Consultancy (formerly Birmingham City Council Building Control) where he spent the next 18 months in an assistant role gaining experience across a wide range of domestic and small commercial projects.

Carl then worked on the Community Team at Acivico across the city of Birmingham covering different wards undertaking plan checking and site inspections. In June 2016 he became the area surveyor for Sutton Coldfield where he was fortunate to work with some exceptional contractors on several top end new builds in the Four Oaks area of the city.
