Project Description
Salus Approved Inspectors were pleased to be appointed for the new Outpatient and Opthamology Treatment Centre. The three-storey building has been constructed using Yorkon modular units on each side of a courtyard/reception area. Link bridges on the first and second floors link the buildings over the courtyard/reception area which is weather protected by glazed walls at each end.
Key features
An ETFE foil roof cladding system was used instead of a conventional glazed system, thus allowing the courtyard/reception area to be classed an external space instead of an atrium.
