Salus were delighted to have been chosen as Building Control Approved Inspector for the superb new three-storey after sales facility with basement level for Porsche Cars GB in Chiswick, West London. The development will also include an associated MOT testing facility, parts storage, office accommodation and parking decks.
Working with Axis 3 Design the development makes excellent use of a brownfield site, which complements the existing Porsche showroom located to the east of the new development.
The proposals are to incorporate roof mounted photovoltaic panels and a highly insulated building. The proposal would result in an overall reduction in carbon emissions of 25.2% when compared to the 2010 building regulations, significantly more than required in the new 2013 standards.
